I have found a good webpage that has plenty of information about babies' development and resources to develop their talking. I am reading lots of their articles. I trust them because their sources are important pediatricians.

When my baby gets fussy

Sometimes my poor baby gets a bit fussy. Who knows why... sometimes I think he may be tired and wants to sleep, sometimes he may have gases and other times I think that he wants to play and I am not paying enough attention to him.

As I sometimes look up on the Internet information about things that my son is doing, or I am curious about those that might come soon, I find very interesting websites for parents.

I still need to learn or check vocabulary about babies. This kind of vocab is hardly ever learnt by students of English as a foreign language. There are certain things that I don't know how to say, but most of the things that I look up are words or sentences that I have to check because I am not sure if they are said the way I would used them. I think I want to speak the best I can so my son doesn't learn many mistakes from me.

As I wrote in a previous post I am learning new specific vocabulary to speak to my son using the right words and pronunciation.One of the sources that I am using to do this is Youtube.

Scratching, swaddling and trimmering

The other day when I looked at my sons face I couldn't believe how he had his face. You could think this happened throughout the day, but it didn't. He did it in seconds! I guess one of his nails was pointed and when he scratched his face he did all that. My poor baby...

Learning specific vocab

 I have started to talk to my son a lot in English this last week. I'm singing songs to him and every time I'm alone with him, I only speak to him in English. As I told you before

I don't know why, but I still feel shy doing it in front of my husband or with other people. For now I am not worried, I know I will have confidence to do it soon. Moreover my soon is starting to interact with me. when I am singing, when I smile and laugh or when I touch his face he starts smiling or making sounds too.

My baby's reflux

I have come across an interesting website about parenting looking for vocabulary regarding regurgitation.

I have found that we can use to regurgitate, to spit up or to vomit (although vomiting is not exactly the same as regurgitating).
